elizabeth gallón droste (Bogotá) learns through art and anthropology. Her practice unfolds through situated arts of listening: ways of moistening the sediments of territorial memories to stay with echophonies carried by stories, oralitures, and family (an)archives—resonances and traces violently silenced, displaced, or rendered as noise, returning and opening ways of sensing and relating otherwise. What territo-rivers sing, tell, and weave orients her through socio-environmental conflict, be-longing, and re-mediation.Elizabeth is a postdoctoral researcher at the Center for Spatial Cosmology, HCU Hamburg, and holds a PhD in Anthropology from FU Berlin with Voicing Rivers Atrato—river rights (2024). She is part of ~pes, Associate Director of The Listening Biennial, and author of Útica, Under the Murmuring Waters (Oreri, 2024). Her work has been presented at documenta fifteen, Meandering-TBA21 Academy, and RAW Material Dakar. Through the Period Music research process, they released a book and album with Other People (2026).

la tierra habla
el río habla
el río se esconde bajo la tierra
¿escuchas su ausencia?
son los ecos de sus fantasmas
